These staterooms are great for a pair of cruisers on a budget, creatively maximizing space with a different layout — featuring one Twin bed, and either an upper Pullman or sofa bed. Passengers aboard the ship are mostly Americans and are evenly distributed across families with kids, seniors, couples and small groups (think family reunions, social clubs and the like) traveling together. At every dining venue the staff is attentive and courteous, doing everything they can to make your time on Liberty worth every penny and every second.

We've taken the best parts and brought them poolside with the RedFrog Rum Bar, where the frog keeps the fun hopping day and night with all the island flava you know and love. Join the party at this poolside bar featuring a great selection of frog-approved Caribbean rum-based concoctions available by the glass or pitcher, plus plenty of Carnival’s signature private-label draft beer, ThirstyFrog Red. All of this goes to show that Carnival is listening to and responding correctly to their passengers' desires for options in dining, activities and overall experience.

Nearby are shuffleboard courts, a table tennis setup, a huge chess set and mini-golf. Balls, clubs and other game accouterment are available on the Lido Deck (Deck 9). We were in Carnival Liberty balcony cabin #8389 and were well pleased with this cabin. The balcony was large enough for two chairs and a small table. The cabin was made up with a queen-sized bed, which could be separated into twin beds. The stateroom also had a nice sofa, cocktail table, storage shelves, flat-screen television, and dressing table.

You can expect a space ratio of 31 gross tons per passenger on this ship. Decks 12 and 14 are where the Serenity adults-only retreat is located. This area is filled with comfortable seats, double hammocks, semi-private cabana loungers, couches and lounge chairs. There is also a pair of hot tubs at the front of the ship, but on our sailing they were not in operation. We had no issues with kids or teens in the area other than near the elevators where they were coming and going from Camp Ocean; it truly was an adults-only retreat.
From the Venetian Palace Main Lounge to the outdoor movie screen to the comedy club to the karaoke bar, there's always something going on aboard Liberty. The big productions in the Venetian go on twice per night, but smaller games and gatherings keep the theater occupied at other times. Movies show every night on the Lido Deck, and comics take the stage nightly at the ship's comedy club. There's plenty of music too, from DJs playing all day to music trivia to dance parties, and then nighttime sees the opening of the Piano Bar and more live musicians setting up around the ship.
One of her highlights is a stunning nine-deck-high atrium that is crowned by a huge chandelier with octopus-like arms with lights that continuously change color.
